Description:
Government mandates and customer green initiatives drive glass manufacturers to explore more effective means to reduce carbon use, while extending furnace campaigns, and keeping production efficient. It’s critical that manufacturers have full knowledge of current innovations and trends in decarbonization in glass manufacturing. This symposium, co-organized by the Glass Manufacturing Industry Council and the U.S. EPA Energy Star, is presented by leading experts in this field who provide a detailed examination of carbon reduction drivers, as well as current and future carbon reduction technologies invaluable to efficient sustainable glass manufacturing.

The Decarbonization in Glass Manufacturing symposium will have 4 sessions: Carbon Reduction Drivers and Economics, Current and future availability of energy, Current Technologies for carbon reduction, and Future Technologies in melting for net zero.
